Profile availability changes with location, age range, distance and other preferences. Orthodate does not promise a particular number of nearby members. Widen your radius only as far as you could realistically travel for an in-person relationship.

No. Add the answers that help another person understand your faith, daily life and hopes, and skip questions you do not want to answer. You can edit your profile as your circumstances change.

A member can respond to a specific photo or written answer. Private chat opens after interest is mutual and the two people match, so an unsolicited message cannot go straight to every profile.

Orthodate has a free tier and two paid ones. A free account includes 3 profiles a day, matching and unlimited messaging with everyone you match with. Orthodate+ and OrthodateX add things like unlimited likes, seeing everyone who has already liked you, searching a whole country instead of a radius, and filtering by height, education, languages and verified profiles only; they start at $11.99 a month on the six-month plan. The full price is shown before anything is charged, subscriptions renew until you cancel, and you can cancel in Settings at any time. There is no advertising anywhere in Orthodate.

An account confirms an email address and, where mobile verification is enabled, a phone number before its profile appears in discovery. Confirmation adds friction for fake or abusive accounts, but it cannot guarantee identity, intentions, character or safety.

No. Other members do not see your exact home address or a precise map pin. A profile may show an approximate distance so people can decide whether meeting is practical without revealing where someone lives.

Other signed-in members can see your first name, age, approximate location, photos and the profile answers you choose to publish. They cannot see your email address, mobile phone number or exact coordinates. Keep contact details and other sensitive information out of your profile answers.

Yes. Use the block or report controls when conduct is unwanted, deceptive, coercive or unsafe. Do not wait for an in-app response in an emergency; contact local emergency services or an appropriate local support organisation.

No. Orthodate does not routinely conduct criminal background or identity checks on members. Email or mobile confirmation and reporting controls have limited purposes and do not prove identity, relationship status, intentions, character or safety.

Yes. Account settings include a delete control. Your profile, photos, likes, matches and messages are removed from live systems promptly; limited backup copies or records required for legal, tax or fraud-prevention reasons may remain for the period explained in the Privacy Policy.

Email addresses and, where enabled, mobile numbers are confirmed before a profile appears in discovery. Members can block or report others, exact addresses are not shown and private chat opens after a mutual match. These measures reduce some misuse but cannot guarantee identity, intentions or safety.
