To use Orthodate, create a verified profile, add photos and answer the faith and lifestyle questions you choose. Discover profiles based on your preferences, like a specific photo or answer, and chat after interest is mutual.
1. Create and verify your profile
Start with a few photos and basic details, then answer as many profile questions as you find useful. Questions cover faith, daily life, relationships and the future. You can skip questions rather than fill a profile with answers that do not feel true to you.
Every account must verify an email address and mobile phone number before appearing in discovery. Verification adds friction for abuse, but it is not a guarantee of identity or character.
2. Discover people and respond with context
Discovery uses the preferences members choose, including age and distance. Profiles show an approximate distance, never an exact street address.
Instead of sending a context-free swipe, you can like and respond to a particular photo or written answer. A specific response makes it easier to start a human conversation.
3. Match, chat and decide what comes next
When interest is mutual, a match can move into private chat. Take time to notice whether the person is consistent, respectful and willing to communicate openly.

- Do not rush to share your home address, financial information or account credentials.

- Choose a populated place, arrange your own transport and tell someone you trust.
- Use your controls
- Block or report concerning behaviour. You can also delete your account and data.
Do I need to answer every profile question?
No. Add the answers that help another person understand you and skip the rest.
When can two members chat?
Private chat becomes available after interest is mutual and the two members match.
Can I delete my Orthodate account?
Yes. Orthodate provides one-tap account deletion, including deletion of your account data.
